Dennis's Dad, or simply Dad, or Dennis Menace[2], is Dennis the Menace and Bea's father, as well as the husband of Dennis's Mum and the son of Gran. Dennis's Dad was originally bald and had a short mustache, but he now looks a lot like his son after receiving the parental makeover from Gok Wan in 2012. In more modern appearances, his real name is Dennis Menace, which is the name of two other Menaces; as of 2015, it has been confirmed that the 2012 redesign of Dennis's Dad was the Dennis from the 1980s. In 2021, it was confirmed that the Dennis from 1951 is the current grandfather of Dennis. Because of this, the 1951 Dennis is referred to as Grandad Menace, the 1980s Dennis is referred to as Dennis Menace Sr., and the current Dennis is referred to as Dennis Menace Jr..
Dennis's Dad, like the other dads, along with Plug's dad, Spotty's dad and Minnie's dad, used to punish his son with the slipper, but this has since been phased out. He is married to Dennis's mum.
In the recent comics, he ran for mayor of Beanotown, but lost to Wilbur Brown, Walter's Dad.
Physical appearance[]
Dennis's Dad was originally bald, had a small mustache and wore a suit and tie. After Gok Wan's makeover, he now has spiky hair like his son, and wears a red and black polo shirt, grey trousers and red and white trainers.
