James Scott "Scotty" (formerly "Spotty") Cameron[7] is a student of the nine pupils in Bash Street School's Class 2B.
Personality[]
In the Beano Videostars, when the safety inspector closes down the school and sends the kids to Bash Street Academy, his spots are removed along with his aggressive, sarcastic nature.
Physical apearance[]
Spotty wears a blue sweatshirt, a white shirt, an extremely long black and white striped tie, which he uses to help the other kids out of tricky situations, black shorts, black and white socks and grey shoes and a bald head. He has many black spots on his face, hence his name.

- Scotty's family name was originally Spotz, as shown in The Beano Annual 2007.
- Scotty's pized possession is his extra-long Bash Street School tie, which comes in really handy to him sometimes.[8]

- In The Beano Annual 1981, it was said that Scotty has 976 black spots. On the official website, it states that he has 89 spots on his head (last time he counted, anyway).[11]
- James Scott Cameron's nickname used to be Spotty. In The Beano no. 4114, he declared that he was tired of being defined solely by his spots, leading the other kids to help him choose the new nickname Scotty, taken from his middle name Scott.[12]
